Give a little happiness this Christmas

#ICan Camps change the lives of individuals with an amputation or limb difference and their families. Together we can continue to support children born with limb difference, limb absence or who have acquired an amputation through trauma or illness. 

There are currently 2,500 children living with limb difference in England. According to a Public Health England report in 2015 limb abnormalities were 29.8 per 10,0000 births. This is an incredibly challenging time for families as they come to terms with this loss, sometimes grappling with guilt and planning for an uncertain future. 

LimbPower, along with our partners, including Steps, LA and Reach are there to support these families through the newly launched Limbformation website (www.limbformation.com) and through our events, activities, resources and advocacy. 

#I Can Camps are run in conjunction with Steps and the Limbless Association, and Reach will be joining us next year. 

We currently run two camps – #I Can Team Camp and #I Can Family Camp. In 2020 we want to run four camps, including two family camps and for the first time, an adult camp. 

We are asking you to make a small gift of a financial donation – only what you can afford – towards our Christmas Appeal. With your support we hope to raise £4,000 towards the cost of these camps.
