Limbformation has been created to offer information, support and links for families with a child or young person who has a limb difference. There are many reasons that a child/young person may have a limb difference. We are supported by many charities and organisations with links to them all in our Supporters and Partners Space.

LimbPower is the project lead on Limbformation but it’s not our website – it’s your website. We have tried to include all the information that we think you might need, including links and contact details where appropriate.

We have always recognised that there needs to be a one stop site to check up on events that might be interesting to your family. It can be tiresome logging onto multiple websites on top of time consuming – we have asked all the charities and organisations to let us know wheat events they are holding this year. The build and design of Limbformation has been funded from a successful bid in 2018 to Starworks/Devices for Dignity a young people’s prosthetics research collaboration who bring children and their families together with key opinion leaders from the NHS, Industry, Clinical Academia and leading National Research Centres with capabilities in child prosthetics.
